Stocks and retrieves merchandise stored on various levels using high lift materials handling equipment to lift, carry, move, and position palletized merchandise. Responsible for safe operation of equipment to ensure no damage to merchandise, equipment or facilities. Typically has 0-2 years of experience and works under close supervision. Job Description: We are looking for a Material Handler to provide support to operations by loading, unloading, and moving materials within our facility. Play an active role in maintaining accurate inventory levels and support the team by prioritizing tasks to meet production goals.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of experience
  • Able to pass drug screen, physical, and forklift test.

Responsibilities

  • Safely loads/unloads materials onto pallets, racks and shelves by hand or using a variety of material handling equipment (such as a forklift).
  • Conduct quality assessments of materials during loading/unloading operations.
  • Read and interpret work orders to determine which materials to pull and deliver. Prioritizes work to meet production demands.
  • Keep materials area and other work areas clean and orderly and report potential hazards.
  • Participate in counting materials for cycle counts and inventories. Communicate and maintain inventory levels.
  • Able to pass drug screen, physical, and forklift test.
