About The Position
Amentum is seeking a Material Handler to join our team 3rd shift forklift team in Miami Lakes, FL! Typical work schedule is Sunday – Thursday, 10:30pm – 7:00am; hours may vary based on business demand. Weekend hours may be scheduled to support our 24/7 operation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.
- Must have previous forklift operation experience and be able to pass forklift certification.
- This position will require a valid Driver’s License
Nice To Haves
- Experience safely operating fork trucks in an industrial environment populated with pedestrians and materials.
Responsibilities
- Loading, unloading, shipping and receiving warehouse items.
- Transporting materials from one location to another inside and outside of facility.
- Maintain professional and courteous customer relations including client, vendor, and internal team.
- Actively participate in safety meetings. Maintain safety work practices as defined by Amentum
- Communicate and advise MHE related concerns to fellow employees and management.
- Other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor/lead.
- Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.
