Requirements

  • Attention to Detail: Required to minimize errors and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Reliability (Attendance, Task Trustworthiness): Must consistently adhere to work schedules.
  • Must be dependable in carrying out responsibilities to completion.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of shipping/receiving/warehouse process.
  • Organizational skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to teach others with compassion and understanding that all people learn differently.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous lift truck experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality checks on all outgoing and incoming shipments.
  • Locate the correct parts based on the order details.
  • Stocking kanbans.
  • Ensure proper pulling, packing, and labeling of parts orders for shipping.
  • Utilize spray foam and pre-shaped foam inserts to secure items in shipping boxes.
  • Ensure that all items are packed in a manner that prevents damage during transit.
  • Process UPS and FedEx domestic orders through the respective shipping software.
  • Ensure that all packages have correct labeling and postage before dispatch.
  • Unpack returned items and verify their condition.
  • Initiate the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process in the system.
  • Receive supplier deliveries and verify against purchase orders.
  • Inspect the condition of received goods and process them into inventory.
  • Safely operate forklifts for the movement of large and heavy items.
