Requirements
- Attention to Detail: Required to minimize errors and ensure accurate documentation.
- Reliability (Attendance, Task Trustworthiness): Must consistently adhere to work schedules.
- Must be dependable in carrying out responsibilities to completion.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of shipping/receiving/warehouse process.
- Organizational skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
- Ability to teach others with compassion and understanding that all people learn differently.
Nice To Haves
- Previous lift truck experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality checks on all outgoing and incoming shipments.
- Locate the correct parts based on the order details.
- Stocking kanbans.
- Ensure proper pulling, packing, and labeling of parts orders for shipping.
- Utilize spray foam and pre-shaped foam inserts to secure items in shipping boxes.
- Ensure that all items are packed in a manner that prevents damage during transit.
- Process UPS and FedEx domestic orders through the respective shipping software.
- Ensure that all packages have correct labeling and postage before dispatch.
- Unpack returned items and verify their condition.
- Initiate the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process in the system.
- Receive supplier deliveries and verify against purchase orders.
- Inspect the condition of received goods and process them into inventory.
- Safely operate forklifts for the movement of large and heavy items.
