About The Position

The Material Handler I performs cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy in a manufacturing, logistics, or stock room environment. The role involves weighing inventory with a scale, reporting inconsistencies to Inventory Control staff, and completing assigned counts with minimal supervision. The employee must complete the full inventory count before the end of the assignment.

This is a two-month contract with potential for extension, located in Grand Prairie, Texas. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The position pays $20 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR regulations.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 6 months of direct cycle count experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, logistics, or stock room.
• Ability to use a scale to weigh inventory.
• Ability to use a ladder unassisted as required.
• Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
• Clear written and spoken communication in English.
• Strong dexterity for repetitive manual counts and sustained attention.
