About The Position

Responsible for operating forklifts and cherry pickers to unload materials and merchandise from incoming trucks and picking product for shipment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of related job experience preferred.
• RF handheld experience preferred.
• Certified to operate forklifts and cherry pickers.
• Strong proficiency in English communication including reading, writing, and verbal interactions are required for complying with safety protocols and operational procedures.
• Ability to stand and walk on level surfaces for a prolonged period.
• Ability to talk and hear.
• Ability to use hands to handle or feel.
• Ability to reach with hands and arms above should height and below the waist.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. 70% of the day and up to 65 lbs. 30% of the day.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and cherry pickers.
• Accurately pick parts throughout the warehouse.
• Weigh product using the proper scales.
• Check part numbers and quantities with a high degree of accuracy.
• Accurately pack orders into shipping cartons, verifying all components of the order are accounted for the correct customer.
• Read customer order notes and filling the order with any special customer requirements.
• Maintain stock of warehouse and shipping supplies.
• Assist in counting physical inventory; perform inventory audits as needed.
• Notify Department Lead or Department Supervisor of any stock shelf issues.
• Report defective materials/product, shortages and/or questionable conditions to the Lead or Supervisor.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and orderliness.
• Follow all safety rules.
• Other duties as assigned.
