About The Position

Perform an array of functions to assist machine shop personnel. This includes assisting with the upkeep of robotic machines by adding coolant and oil, loading and unloading finished pieces from robotic machines, placing finished materials on pallets for shipment, keeping the shop floor clean at all times, assisting the shipping department, observing necessary safety precautions, and cross-training on alternate assignments and performing duties in other work areas as needed. Any other duties as requested by respective supervisor and/or manager.

Requirements

• Experience operating a forklift
• Stable work history, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Can work independently with minimal supervision
• Committed to working safely at all times including a commitment to the policies and procedures of the operation
• Positive attitude and a good team member
• Able to work outdoors in all adverse weather conditions: extreme heat and cold
• Ability to complete the physical aspects of the job including long period of standing, bending, twisting, walking, lifting, repetitive climbing, etc.
• Willing to reliably fulfill the designated work schedule inclusive of overtime
