About The Position

Universal Pure is a food manufacturing company that provides high-pressure processing (HPP), value-added services (VAS), and cold storage for its partners. This role is a Material Handler position that operates in a cold storage warehouse. The company provides necessary gear for the cold conditions. The shift is 3rd Shift, from 10pm to 6:30am, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of overtime and weekend work. Requirements

• Ability to perform basic mental math
• Ability to communicate in English (speak, read, and write)
• Ability to balance productivity, quality, and safety
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift 45 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 75 lbs. rarely
• Ability to stand for 8 to 10 hours shifts and perform repetitive bending, twisting and lifting

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma/GED
• 6 months MHE/forklift experience preferred
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Experience using warehouse management and inventory systems
• Refrigeration, warehouse, production, or manufacturing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Utilize a manual pallet jack to load, unload, move, stack, stage and count product and materials
• Use a forklift to load, unload, move, stack, stage and count product and materials
• Performing inventory counts for accuracy and discrepancies
• Shipping and receiving duties as assigned
• Use radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving and put-a-way
• Safe and efficient operation of the vehicle
• Perform order filler and checker duties
• Maintain equipment and perform pre-operation checks according to policy
• Following health, safety, and cleanliness standards
• Other duties as assigned
