Position Summary The Material Handler is a critical member of our Generator Manufacturing team, ensuring materials, components, and parts are available when and where they are needed. This role directly supports production efficiency, inventory accuracy, and on-time delivery of high-quality generator systems. You'll work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to safety are valued and rewarded.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Forklift experience required
  • Basic computer proficiency required
  • Ability to read work orders, packing slips, and inventory documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize work in a fast-moving environment
  • Dependable work ethic and positive attitude

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum one year of warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or material handling experience preferred
  • Shipping and receiving experience preferred
  • Experience with inventory systems or ERP software is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
  • Organize and maintain inventory to support efficient production operations
  • Accurately store materials and components in designated warehouse locations
  • Pull and stage materials for manufacturing and assembly teams
  • Support production by ensuring the right parts are available at the right time
  • Load, unload, move, and transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment
  • Maintain inventory records and assist with cycle counts and inventory audits
  • Create and apply labels to ensure proper identification and traceability of materials
  • Package materials and products for shipment
  • Process returns and maintain supporting documentation
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs
  • Partner with Purchasing, Production, and Warehouse teams to resolve material issues and support operational goals
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Support team members and assist with special projects as needed
