About The Position

Hadco Metal Trading CO., LLC distributes metal products, including aluminum, stainless steel, carbon, related alloys, and engineering-grade plastics, for aerospace and commercial markets. The company uses precision cutting equipment such as CNC machines, waterjets, band saws, plate saws, and shears.

The Material Handler Forklift Operator moves and delivers materials in a warehouse, verifies material against work orders, enters order information into the company's ERP system, performs required calculations, and packages completed orders. The role requires forklift experience, math and measuring skills, basic data entry ability, and the ability to handle heavy materials. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Math and measuring skills, including fractions and decimals.
• Forklift experience moving large and heavy material.
• Ability to accurately enter work orders into the company ERP system.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions; English preferred.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, stretch, reach, and stoop.
• Minimum age of 18.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift and/or overhead crane to move and deliver material to designated areas.
• Accurately enter work order information into the ERP computer system.
• Use a micrometer or caliper to verify alloy, weight, and count against work order specifications.
• Perform mathematical calculations required on orders.
• Package completed orders.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.
