Material Handler/Forklift Driver - First shift
About The Position
NuAire is an innovative public company that manufactures high-quality life science laboratory equipment to support the research and healthcare industry. We are looking for an experienced warehouse Material Handler to join our team. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing material and products within the fabrication plant and manufacturing warehouse. The ideal candidate has excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, as well as the ability to operate a variety of material-handling equipment. This position will also help in other departments.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Able to operate a variety of material-handling equipment, including Forklift or Big Joe.
- Basic computer knowledge/skills, experience with barcode reading or scanning equipment preferred.
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- 1 1/2 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Moves, stacks, loads, unloads material in and about the warehouse.
- Read and interpret routing sheets, enter, and print Purchase Orders, Labels, assign and enter stock locations.
- Keeps parts, shelves, and work area orderly.
- Inventory parts regularly, reporting shortages.
- Other duties as assigned.
