About The Position

This is a full-time position working 8 hours per day with possible overtime. While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member will be in a manufacturing environment where loud noises and hot or cold temperatures are possible.

Requirements

GED or High School Diploma.
Proficient understanding of basic math functions (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
At least 6 months experience operating a forklift or reach truck.
Possess strong interpersonal and customer relation skills
Must pass background check and drug test
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Requires bending, stooping and standing.
Must be able to stand from six (6) to eight (8) hours per day. (Overtime may extend the time period.)
Good visual and spatial perception.
Follow established safety policies including, but not limited to, mobile equipment, PPE, emergency response, HAZCOM, first-aid response, etc.

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of MRP or ERP systems and Microsoft Office programs, Excel, Word and Outlook.
Ability to be flexible to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines.
Experience picking parts using a scanner and packing parts for shipment required.
DOT medical exam required to drive company vehicles.

Responsibilities

Pick and stage materials for production
Accurately pull parts from pick tickets and stages materials for production.
Safely operate various pieces of warehouse equipment (Cherry Pickers, Forklifts etc.).
Assist in physical inventories and cycle counting as directed.
Communicate issues regarding part discrepancies to the Warehouse Lead
Safely operates various pieces of warehouse equipment (Forklifts etc.)
Actively participate as a member of the team to move the team towards completion of goals.
Takes the initiative to find, identify and propose changes to processes not working well.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
