About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Material Handler, Fabricator to join our team. You’ll be part of a talented group that collaborates to deliver world class products to our customers. The Material Handler, Fabricator is responsible for keeping the flow of products running smoothly within the Fabrication area.

Requirements

  • a high school diploma or GED
  • worked in a manufacturing environment for 2-5 years
  • worked in a fast-paced mid-size company
  • the ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
  • possess a thorough and organized approach to your work
  • pay close attention to details on every project
  • have basic computer skills, including Pace and Google Suite
  • be self-motivated, a fast learner, and show initiative to seek out customer and corporate needs
  • plan, prioritize, coordinate, and manage your work
  • complete projects accurately within deadlines, while meeting Company quality standards
  • apply effective time management and self-management skills
  • understand and maintain the confidential nature of company, employee and customer information
  • be flexible to change
  • able to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing. Strong interpersonal skills including, demonstrated listening skills and the ability to present ideas and thoughts concisely and effectively both internally and outside the organization
  • willing to admit when you make a mistake (it happens to the best of us)

Nice To Haves

  • Power Industrial Vehicle (PIV) experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • safely operates all types of forklifts
  • handle the loading and unloading of media to production areas and cutting machines
  • open pallets of new media to be ready for the presses
  • ensure that the next job is prepared for the Cutting Operator
  • make certain that the production floor is kept clear of debris and recycling materials
  • communicate with the cut and print leads to understand their needs
  • handle the unloading of materials as they arrive
  • deliver empty skids to the cutting area for completed jobs to be placed on
  • stage jobs for the TBG transfer truck
  • drive the delivery truck between TBG buildings as needed
  • scan materials in process (MIP) using a TBG internal system
  • assist in maintaining a clean work environment and dock area
  • complete an inspection log of the company truck
  • perform other duties as assigned by management
