Performs all traditional warehouse duties including operating forklifts, shipping, receiving, restocking, picking orders, loading and unloading trucks, and housekeeping. This role also serves as a backup driver for a box truck, delivering materials to customer shops and job sites. Responsibilities include ensuring accurate, timely, and courteous service, collecting signatures and payments, maintaining driver logs and vehicle condition reports, adhering to safety policies and regulations, performing pre-trip inspections, securing loads, and recommending optimal delivery routes. When not driving, the employee will perform material handler duties such as receiving, verifying, and checking delivered materials, restocking, picking and palletizing orders, staging orders, operating forklifts and WMS RF scanning devices, and general housekeeping. Additional duties include loading/unloading materials, attaching tags, palletizing and shrink-wrapping materials, lifting heavy objects, operating various types of lifts and pallet jacks, ensuring proper product handling, controlling and accounting for materials, and performing data entry and computer work using WMS technology.
