About The Position

CW is seeking a dependable and safety-minded Material Handler & Forklift Driver to join our team in a fast-paced production setting. In this role, you will help keep materials moving efficiently throughout the facility, ensuring production teams have what they need while maintaining an organized and accessible workspace.

Requirements

Previous experience in a warehouse, production plant, manufacturing, shipping, receiving, or material handling environment.
Ability and willingness to learn to safely operate a forklift and obtain required certification.
Basic inventory, labeling, and recordkeeping skills.
Basic knowledge of workplace safety standards and proper equipment operation.
Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload materials throughout the facility.
Transport raw materials and finished goods to designated production, storage, or shipping areas in a timely manner.
Stage and organize materials to support efficient production workflows and minimize delays.
Maintain accurate inventory by tracking, labeling, and verifying materials during movement and storage.
Inspect equipment daily and report any maintenance or safety concerns to ensure safe operation.
Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling, stacking, and securing of materials.
Assist with receiving and stocking incoming shipments, ensuring materials are stored correctly.
Support production teams by ensuring materials are readily available and replenished as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate material movement and prioritize tasks.
