About The Position

Dealer Tire is hiring a Material Handler/Delivery Driver in Farmington, Connecticut. This hands-on role combines warehouse material handling and local delivery work to help deliver products to customers. The position is scheduled for 40 hours per week on first shift, within business hours of 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., at a base pay rate of $20.50 per hour. Employees may have an opportunity to increase base pay after six months and may earn a monthly incentive bonus based on individual contribution and warehouse team performance. Training and advancement opportunities are available in logistics and operations.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license and at least one year of U.S.-based driving experience.
• Must complete a criminal background check, a DOT physical, and a three-year motor vehicle report.
• Must be able to lift 70 pounds frequently and up to 90 pounds occasionally.
• Must be comfortable working at heights up to 25 feet.
• Must have good English communication skills.
• Must be a team player with a strong work ethic.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual ability is a plus.
• Previous warehouse or delivery experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks, pick orders, organize inventory, and support timely deliveries.
• Safely operate non-CDL 16-foot box trucks and sprinter vans to transport goods to local destinations.
• Perform warehouse work in a fast-paced setting, including standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.
• Receive training to operate cherry pickers, forklifts, and walkie riders.
