About The Position

Gulfeagle Supply is seeking motivated Delivery Material Handlers to work alongside drivers and help ensure building materials are delivered properly to job sites. The role involves loading, securing, handling, and placing materials using a forklift, crane, conveyor, or by hand. Materials must be stacked and distributed correctly, including at roof-drop locations. The work requires attention to detail, safe handling practices, and respectful interaction with customers and branch personnel. The position may involve working at heights on multi-story buildings and in heat, cold, rain, or sunshine. Requirements

• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions.
• Ability to bend, reach, lift, and climb.
• Ability to work on multi-story buildings at various heights and roof pitches.
• Ability to continually lift materials weighing up to 100 pounds for extended periods.
• High degree of attention to ensure accurate delivery and prevent damage to materials and equipment.
• Ability to work in heat, cold, rain, or sunshine.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and be subject to random substance-abuse screening under company policy.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English or Spanish, as required by the branch location.
• General knowledge of roofing materials, construction, and/or distribution.

Responsibilities

• Load or assist in loading and securing materials on trucks and at roof-drop locations.
• Work alongside the driver to help deliver building materials to job sites using a forklift, crane, conveyor, or by hand.
• Ensure materials are properly stacked and distributed when placed on roofs.
• Handle all job functions safely and in accordance with company safety policies.
• Treat customers and personnel at delivery points or branches with respect and discretion.
• Perform other duties as requested.
