About The Position

Standard Electric Supply Co. is seeking a highly motivated Material Handler and Delivery Driver to join their team in Eau Claire, WI. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of products to customers, while maintaining a commitment to quality and safety. As a Material Handler, the role involves the efficient movement of materials within the warehouse, ensuring all products are properly stored and organized utilizing handheld barcode scanners. This position requires a proactive problem solver who can effectively communicate with team members and customers to ensure exceptional customer service.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license, CDL not required.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted required.
DOT Medical Certification card required.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a warehouse, driving, or customer service role.
Ability to operate a Forklift certification or other warehouse equipment.
Ability to operate a box truck.
Knowledge of safety regulations in warehouse environments.

Responsibilities

General warehousing duties include staging and receiving incoming shipments, picking customer orders, and shipping orders according to customer requirements.
Ensure all products are properly labeled and stored.
Load and unload materials from delivery vehicles and warehouse storage areas.
Organize and maintain inventory within the warehouse and at customer sites.
Adhere to safety regulations and company policies while performing all tasks.
Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure a smooth delivery process.
