Meet the Team Our Materials team plays a critical role in ensuring inventory accuracy and material availability to support manufacturing operations. As a Material Handler 2, you will work closely with warehouse, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to maintain efficient material flow, perform inventory transactions, and help ensure the right materials are available at the right time. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where teamwork, accuracy, and continuous improvement are highly valued.

Requirements

  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and effectively balance competing priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a proactive approach to your work.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships and collaborate effectively with team members across multiple functions.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Oracle, to support inventory and warehouse operations.
  • Ability to analyze information, identify root causes, and resolve problems independently.
  • Experience operating forklifts or can successfully obtain forklift certification.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in everything you do.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience and a High School diploma/certificate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Help maintain the accuracy and quality of inventory through routine inventory management activities.
  • Complete data entry for cycle counts, inventory adjustments, and scrap transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Perform systematic research and coordinate physical investigations to identify and resolve inventory variances.
  • Monitor inventory levels and product demand to help ensure adequate material availability for operations.
  • Retrieve, transport, and store materials using hand trucks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment.
  • Follow established safety procedures and best practices to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Support warehouse and inventory control processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support business needs.
