About The Position

As a Material Handler 2 at Lakeside Book Company, you will be responsible for reading work orders, collaborating with operators to improve the binding line's operation, and learning to operate small pieces of equipment. Your duties will include loading printed materials into bindery equipment, moving finished products from the binding line, and stacking them neatly onto pallets, carts, or trays. This role operates within a team environment, requiring cross-training with colleagues and offering opportunities for career advancement through training.

Requirements

• 2+ years of manufacturing experience required
• Ability to stand for the entire duration of your shift
• Requires the ability to lift and carry 20-60 pounds

Nice To Haves

• Preference will be given to candidates who agree to participate in cross-training.
• Achieving qualified status within the position and assuming responsibility as a backup for lateral and progressive roles, as needed.

Responsibilities
