About The Position

With some supervision, the Material Handler 1 performs material-handling activities, including transferring materials from receiving to stock, putting materials away, cycle counting, and fulfilling EMRs. The role determines inventory levels and issues stock to production areas as needed to maintain production. It may also involve preparing PCBs for production and materials for SMT/Universal setups. The employee may be assigned projects such as locating materials by lot number, date code, or container ID; isolating materials to MRB; preparing materials for RTV; and reconciling inventory issues and discrepancies. The position creates or recommends and uses reports, queries, and data to identify and resolve material issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Computer skills, including experience with an ERP system such as SAP or Oracle.
• Ability to communicate effectively via email.
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance, per OSHA guidelines.
