About The Position

Join our dynamic team as a Material Handler 1 on the 5th Shift in El Paso, TX. This contractor position offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment supporting manufacturing and logistics operations. Ideal for motivated individuals seeking to develop core skills in material handling with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish
• General computer proficiency; ability to perform basic math
• Able to lift/move over 50 lbs and work in physically demanding conditions
• Comfortable working in environments with temperature variations, noise, and exposure to moving machinery
• Willingness to undergo drug testing
• Zero to one year of warehouse or related experience
• Must be available for 12-hour night shifts (6:00pm-6:00am) and two weekdays (10:00pm–6:00am)

Nice To Haves

• Forklift (sit-down/standup/cherry picker) operation experience
• Valid FL Certificate
• Previous experience maintaining warehouse records

Responsibilities

• Transport materials, parts, and finished goods using equipment such as forklifts, handcarts, and power trucks
• Efficiently open boxes, move inventory, and manage material flow within the warehouse
• Maintain accurate records of materials moved and stored
• Operate within defined Standard Operating Procedures and quality guidelines
• Perform routine warehouse tasks including lifting, carrying, stooping, and standing for extended periods
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols; wear required steel-toed shoes at all times
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and leads
• Attend required New Hire Orientation at scheduled date and time
