About The Position

Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove, a leading manufacturer of luxury kitchen appliances, is a family-owned company in the Goodyear, AZ area. They are seeking a Material Flow Engineer to lead, continuously improve, and optimize the movement of materials within the manufacturing plant. This role involves cross-functional collaboration with Engineering and Supply Chain, with a focus on growth and development for future leaders or technical experts.

Requirements

Experience with CAD software for layout planning.
Proficiency in using data and simulation software to model material flow.
Ability to collaborate with Production, Logistics, and Supply Chain teams.
Understanding of material handling systems and warehouse layouts.
Skills in process optimization.

Responsibilities

Designs and optimizes the movement of raw materials, parts, and finished goods within a manufacturing facility, ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective production.
Reduces waste by developing end-to-end material handling processes and designing warehouse layouts.
Develops dock-to-point-of-use material handling systems, optimizing lineside space utilization and material replenishment.
Creates detailed material flow paths, warehouse layouts, and storage solutions using CAD software to enhance efficiency.
Collaborates with Production, Logistics, and Supply Chain teams to improve safety, quality, and reduce material handling costs.
Uses data and simulation software to model material flow and validate labor/equipment requirements.
