About The Position

Serves as a Part-Time Material Coordinator with a primary purpose of this position is to assist and advice Rotational Training Units (RTUs) on aspects of transportation movement services (unit movements, material movements, rail operations, barge operations, and air operations), involving all modes of transposition, (rail, motor, air, and water), nationwide and overseas. Performs staff assistance pertaining to transportation movement, missions, and functions for assigned areas. Assignments are varied and pertain to policies, systems, operations, and functions of transportation.

Requirements

• Practical knowledge of industry practices and procedures.
• Knowledge of established regulations, requirements, and techniques related to various transportation functions.
• Ability to perform assistant work in specified segments of large projects or well-defined projects of lesser scope requiring application of standardized transportation methods and procedures.
• Knowledge of T/C AIMS.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work with senior level military personnel.
• Must complete a favorable background investigation.
• Must be eligible to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Common Access Card (CAC).
