Requirements

  • Material Handler: Performs physical or administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and order fulfillment of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
  • Unpacks and verifies goods against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods, and rejects unsatisfactory items.
  • Packages and prepares products for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges.
  • Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift.
  • Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.
  • Examines, stocks, and distributes materials in inventory warehouses, distribution centers, and on manufacturing lines.
  • Positions are also known as warehouse associates, shipping and receiving associates, pick-packs, or store clerks.
