About The Position

Leidos Defense Manufacturing Sector is seeking a talented Material Control Analyst / Driver to join our Platform Integration team located in Huntsville, AL. Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Must be able to obtain a DOT Health Card to drive company vehicles.
  • Experience working in the Manufacturing industry or relevant Inventory experience.
  • May be required to work overtime as needed.
  • Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Inventory Control with knowledge of Hazmat and Shipping/Receiving functions.
  • Experience using DELTEK Costpoint, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft office Suite (Word, Excel, and Microsoft outlook).

Responsibilities

  • Handle deliveries and pickups to subcontract vendors.
  • Process incoming hardware and raw material for Inventory.
  • Create labeling to identify material receipts.
  • Perform inventory control tasks within DELTEK Costpoint management system.
  • Process incoming and outgoing subcontract materials and assemblies.
  • Communicate and coordinate with Production Control Planners.
  • Move materials between an Inventory Management Warehouse and Production Floor using a fork-lift or pallet jack.
  • Maintain an Inventory Bin System to store materials.
  • Prepare material kits.
  • Perform additional duties as required which may include packaging, shipping, material control, etc.
