About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team in Raritan, NJ. This role involves managing test bench supply replenishment, identifying and documenting reagent and calibrator inventory, and ensuring proper storage criteria are met. The position also includes receiving and sorting clinical lab specimens, preparing them for testing, and performing data entry. Additionally, the associate will be responsible for maintaining lab equipment, troubleshooting specimen-related issues, and keeping the work environment clean and safe. Administrative duties such as completing record logs are also part of the role.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Comfortability with handling biological specimens
• Ability to accurately identify specimens
• Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• High level of attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask
• Ability to work in a fast paced production environment and meet established turn-around times
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Nice To Haves

• 3 months or more of experience working with lab reagents
• 3 months or more of medical or laboratory experience
• Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs

Responsibilities

• Ordering test bench supply replenishment
• Identifying old/new lots of reagents and calibrators for department
• Documents and maintains records of all reagent/calibrator inventory
• Follow appropriate storage criteria for reagents
• Disinfect bench area and document as required
• Complete and track Iron Mountain boxes
• Receive and sort clinical lab specimens
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
• Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information
• Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance
• Troubleshoot any specimen related issues
• Replenish test bench supplies as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested
