About The Position

Resideo is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Material Buyer to join our team in Nagykanizsa, where you'll be responsible for purchasing materials needed for site production. This position offers a hybrid working model, with Mondays and Fridays designated as remote workdays with flexible working hours.

Requirements

Previous work experience in the Supply Chain area or Engineering
Fluency in Hungarian and English
Excellent negotiation skills

Nice To Haves

Tactical procurement experience within a manufacturing environment
Strong problem-solving skills
Familiarity with SAP

Responsibilities

Order components required for production
Manage open purchase orders in the ERP system, including monitoring late or unconfirmed POs and adjusting schedules as needed
Maintain daily communication with suppliers, planners, production, warehouse, and the Quality department
Coordinate with suppliers and freight organizers to ensure accurate shipment tracking and timely delivery
Resolve quantity discrepancies, clear materials under receipt block in the warehouse, and address related invoice issues
Update stakeholders on delivery quantities, arrival dates, and manage shortage reports proactively
Provide accurate forecasts to suppliers to support planning and inventory management
Monitor supplier compliance with safety stock requirements
Escalate critical issues to Sourcing when necessary
Prepare for and actively participate in Tier meetings
Contribute to supplier evaluations to ensure quality and performance standards are met
