About The Position

This position is for a Material Business Analyst assigned to the F16 Production Finance portfolio within the Integrated Fighter Group organization. The role supports program finance functions including breakpoint and detailed pegging analysis, cost baseline management, EAC analysis, Earned Value analysis, actual cost account reconciliation, and variance analysis using tools like Cobra and PM Compass. It requires data mining, data analysis, and presenting findings to management. The analyst will also support and mentor early career team members, collaborate with program leadership, Global Supply Chain management, Control Account Managers, and other financial stakeholders to drive financial performance, and translate complex financial data into clear insights for decision-making. The role ensures accurate financial baselines, risk assessments, and reporting, and proactively identifies trends, risks, and opportunities to improve contract performance and program outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college
  • Experience with SAP, Deltek, or similar business systems

Nice To Haves

  • Experience budgeting and tracking material
  • Experience with monthly ETC and EAC analysis with material
  • Understanding of Breakpoints and how Detailed Pegging works
  • Experience with Systems, Applications, Products Software (SAP) including Manufacturing Earned Value-Material (MEV-M)
  • Experience developing and using MS Excel pivot tables, lookups, and databases to obtain data and develop reports
  • Knowledge of Earned Value (EV) applications and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)/Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR)
  • Familiarity with contract and proposal processes, including various contract types (e.g., FPIF, CPIF, FFP)
  • Experience with program management, including program execution and control
  • Experience with change management and process improvement
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Ensure contracts have sound material cost and financial baselines
  • Conduct financial risk assessments and ensure accurate financial forecast
  • Collaborate with Control Account Managers, Program Managers, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) teams, and other stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the contracts financial performance and identify areas for improvement
