The Material Associate is responsible for processing transactions accurately and timely related to the receiving of physical goods from suppliers, returned goods from customer departments, stock replenishments, and the filling of customer orders. This role involves executing transactions within the management system, utilizing PC and RF scanner technologies, and verifying all documentation for accuracy. The associate will operate powered and non-powered equipment safely, transport and store goods to prevent damage, and supervise the receiving and distribution of equipment and supplies. They will ensure equipment and supplies are handled, stored, and maintained in a secure environment, remove non-functional items, and report problems for corrective action. Maintaining clean and orderly working and storage areas, working safely, complying with all safety regulations (including OSHA), and performing good housekeeping are also key responsibilities. Daily inspection checklists for powered equipment are required if mandated by the department.
