About The Position
This role is responsible for the efficient movement and organization of materials within the facility to support production operations. The Associate - Material Handling will ensure raw materials, paper stock, dies, and finished products are transported, staged, and stored correctly, while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment.
Requirements
- 1 + year of warehouse experience preferred or a good attitude to learn with
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification on site.
- Experience operating industrial forklifts and standing lift trucks preferred
- Stand-up lift experience, skilled maneuvering in tight spaces.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. to a height of 6 feet regularly.
Responsibilities
- Transport raw materials, paper stock, dies, and finished products between storage areas and production lines.
- Load and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment.
- Stage materials for printing and die cutting operations according to production schedules.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of material storage areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Label and document incoming and outgoing shipments accurately.
- Follow safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions or equipment issues.
- Collaborate with operators and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
- Dispose of scrap materials in accordance with company and environmental guidelines.
