Material and Process Engineer I (Onsite)
About The Position
As a Material and Process Engineer I at Raytheon Technologies, you will work closely with Senior Engineers to support material analytical testing, packaging and handling identification, material documentation update and maintenance. In addition, you will be working cross-functionally with Material and Process Program leads, Program Engineers, and Production representatives to support varieties of material related inquiries. Perform empirical material testing that mimic program use-case condition, initiate data-driven material and design ameliorations. Resolves day-to-day technical problems on the production lines to minimize disruption. Conduct a wide array of materials verification for compliance with drawings, specifications, and program applications. Completes drawing designs as required to facilitate the engineering process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering or related (STEM) major obtained by start date.
- Experience with Material analytical instrument.
- Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with data analysis and technical reporting.
- Experience with CAD and/or engineering drawings.
- Experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and/or PowerPoint).
