The Materials Analyst will maintain the ERP system for all Material functional areas, including Item Master, BOM, ship-to locations, and inventory parameters. This role involves creating daily production schedules, ensuring production output is recorded and posted into the ERP system, and communicating No Surprise Forms to customers during supply shortages. The analyst will review daily MRP supply reports, identify and correct customer and supplier inaccuracies, and track component inventory inaccuracies for root cause analysis and corrective actions. Additionally, the role is responsible for performing daily cycle counts, reconciling inventory variances, tracking and submitting Premium Freight events and downtime caused by suppliers, creating debit memos for cost recovery, communicating DMRs to suppliers, obtaining disposition for Quality Hold materials, and tracking the status of supplier communication for engineering changes. The position requires reporting daily on key performance measures of the materials department, including inventory valuation, cycle counts, inventory accuracy, and past-due parts, as well as achieving inventory valuation and turn targets for assigned products. The analyst will actively participate in Health/Safety/Environmental investigations and the 8D process for problem resolution, report accidents and emergencies, and ensure compliance with all safety procedures and MMSA procedures.
