About The Position

Plymate’s Mat Production Division is seeking a Mat Production Operator to join their team. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of mat production, adhering to quality standards, and maintaining inventory.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and load floor mats into rolling machine.
• Ability to carry mats and put them away.
• Ability to read instructions required for route building.
• Ability to distinguish color and size of mats.
• Ability to walk up to two miles/day, bend, kneel, and lift/carry up to 75lbs. routinely
• Ability to bend and twist at the waist, knees and neck while loading and unloading route carts.
• Ability to use both hands/arms/eye/hand/foot coordination while performing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Keep pace with wash loads/dryer ensuring no “bottle necks” at roller.
• Follow Route Building Procedure and Mat Quality Standards
• Watch for damaged or wet mats
• Place stock mats neatly on carts by color and size.
• Ensure Custom logo mats are inventoried and stored in the correct tubes.
• Identify mats in need of replacement.
• Other duties as assigned.
