Ace mixes rubber compounds for many industries including the roller industry, belting and printing industries and also for molding applications. Requirements

Some post-secondary courses or on the job training in manufacturing, production, assembly, or similar industrial setting is preferred
1 year working in an industrial setting OR restaurant, hospitality, lawn care are all transferrable skills
Very comfortable using a wide variety of tools, equipment, standing for prolonged periods of time
Must be able to work in a non climate-controlled environment
Ensure the quality of your work both visually and by using specific tools to test the quality

Nice To Haves

Ongoing training and mastering the operation of different types of equipment

Responsibilities

Using formula sheet (think of a recipe card) list of ingredients required for your part of the process; start with the end product in mind in learning how to mix rubber
Loading and unloading of ingredients from pallets, you need to be able to safely lift 50 lbs repetitively and move heavy items on a regular basis
Operate the equipment that mixes our rubber products
Package and label the completed rubber product
