About The Position

The Horsham Clinic is seeking a dynamic, compassionate, and flexible Masters Level Social Worker for their Coatesville Partial Hospitalization Program. This is a PER DIEM role. The Social Worker provides clinical social work services on a designated unit, performing psychosocial assessments, individual, group, and family therapy, participating in treatment team planning, processing commitments, and providing discharge planning/case management services, crisis intervention, and liaison services with referral sources and other hospital departments. The Adult Partial Hospitalization Program Social Worker provides direct care under the supervision of a Program Coordinator, Attending Psychiatrist, or designee, focusing on a safe and therapeutic milieu, crisis intervention, activities of daily living, and communication with referral sources and families.

Requirements

• LSW/LCSW/LPC/LMFT - REQUIRED
• Master's degree in social work REQUIRED
• 3-5 years prior experience working with a psychiatric mental health population required
• Inpatient psychiatric population experience preferred
• Knowledge of case management, discharge planning, group leadership skills, age specific growth and development, crisis and behavior management
• Experience running group therapy
• Flexibility for reassignment to units providing care to varied populations including children, adolescents, adults, older adults and dually diagnosed patients in an inpatient hospital setting.
• Must be a team player and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication

Nice To Haves

• Inpatient psychiatric population experience preferred
