About The Position

The Horsham Clinic is seeking a dynamic, compassionate, and flexible Masters Level Social Worker for its Adult Partial Hospitalization Program. This is a PER DIEM role. The Social Worker provides clinical social work services on a designated unit, consistent with the philosophy and objectives of The Horsham Clinic and the NASW. Responsibilities include psychosocial assessments, individual, group, and family therapy, participation in treatment team planning, processing commitments, discharge planning/case management, crisis intervention, and liaison services with referral sources and other hospital departments. The Adult Partial Hospitalization Program Social Worker provides direct care under the supervision of a Program Coordinator, Attending Psychiatrist, or designee, focusing on a safe and therapeutic milieu, crisis intervention, activities of daily living, and communication with referral sources and families. The Horsham Clinic is a 206-bed private behavioral healthcare facility serving patients and families from Southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey, offering comprehensive behavioral health services to children, adolescents, adults, and their families.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in social work
  • LSW/LCSW/LPC/LMFT
  • 3-5 years prior experience working with a psychiatric mental health population
  • Knowledge of case management, discharge planning, group leadership skills, age specific growth and development, crisis and behavior management
  • Experience running group therapy
  • Flexibility for reassignment to units providing care to varied populations including children, adolescents, adults, older adults and dually diagnosed patients in an inpatient hospital setting.
  • Must be a team player
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication

Nice To Haves

  • Inpatient psychiatric population experience preferred
