About The Position

The Horsham Clinic is seeking a dynamic and talented Per Diem Masters Level Therapist/Counselor for the Coatesville Partial Hospitalization Program. The Horsham Clinic is a private behavioral healthcare facility serving Southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey, offering comprehensive behavioral health services. The Partial Hospitalization Program Counselor provides direct care under supervision, focusing on maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu, crisis intervention, activities of daily living, and communication with referral sources and families. Requirements

2 years experience working in Mental Health setting
Bachelors in Psychology/Human Services, Counseling, Social Work required
Exposure to psychiatric patients who may exhibit violent/ aggressive behavior.
General hospital environment.
Must be willing to work with children, and adolescents
Highly Developed written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with common computer based applications such as electronic mail, word processing and various databases

Responsibilities

Provide direct care under the supervision of a Program Coordinator, Attending Psychiatrist, or designee.
Provision of a safe and therapeutic milieu.

Experience working with Groups.
Demonstrates working knowledge of behavioral mental health, classroom management, and positive reinforcement.
Ability to plan, direct, and monitor others activities with demonstrated leadership abilities that contribute to a positive work environment.
