About The Position

The Horsham Clinic is seeking a dynamic and talented Per Diem Masters Level Therapist/Counselor for the Broomall Partial Hospitalization Program. The Horsham Clinic is a private behavioral healthcare facility serving Southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey, offering comprehensive behavioral health services to children, adolescents, adults, and their families across multiple locations. The Partial Hospitalization Program Counselor's essential duties include providing direct care under supervision, ensuring a safe and therapeutic milieu, crisis intervention, assisting with activities of daily living, and communicating with referral sources and families. Requirements

2 years experience working in Mental Health setting
Bachelors in Psychology/Human Services, Counseling, Social Work required
Exposure to psychiatric patients who may exhibit violent/ aggressive behavior.
General hospital environment.
Must be willing to work with children, and adolescents
Experience working with Groups
Demonstrates working knowledge of behavioral mental health, classroom management, and positive reinforcement
Highly Developed written and verbal communication skills
Ability to plan, direct, and monitor others activities with demonstrated leadership abilities that contribute to a positive work environment.
Proficiency with common computer based applications such as electronic mail, word processing and various databases
