About The Position

Hilton Tool manufactures precision-machined components, including close-tolerance parts, weldments, assemblies, prototypes, and production runs. The MasterCam Programmer develops manufacturing strategies, plans projects, creates process documentation, and programs CNC mills, lathes, and wire EDM machines using MasterCam software. The role requires strong attention to detail, organization, computer skills, communication, and a commitment to high-quality work. Requirements

Have a positive attitude.
Be able to program weldments of various sizes and fully machined parts.
Be able to develop a plan and document manufacturing processes from start to finish.
Be able to critically think and resolve process issues as they arise.
Have extensive knowledge of CNC machine tools and controls.
Have extensive knowledge of tooling and machining strategies for complex geometry.
Have extensive knowledge of 2-, 3-, and 4-axis CNC machine tool programming.
Have excellent blueprint-reading skills and ability to interpret GD&T on drawings.
Have excellent machine shop math skills.
Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Be able to perform job requirements with limited supervision.
Continuously build knowledge and skills and share expertise with others.
Be able to lift 50 pounds.
Be able to stand for an entire shift.

Responsibilities

Review drawings and customer requirements to develop a manufacturing strategy that produces parts to customer requirements from start to finish.
Create process paperwork for other machinists to follow.
Program CNC machines using MasterCam software.
Read, understand, and adjust G&M code.
Comply with company safety guidelines.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
