About The Position

Premier Global Links LLC is recruiting on behalf of a confidential, Japanese-owned manufacturing company specializing in custom machinery, industrial automation, and precision job-shop machining for Tier-1 and industrial customers. The company is seeking an experienced Master CNC Machinist who can independently take work from an engineering blueprint through to a finished part. This is not an entry-level position; candidates must demonstrate hands-on experience producing precision parts independently, with minimal supervision.

The role requires Mastercam programming, hands-on Haas CNC machine experience, and manual machining expertise. The machinist will manage machine setups, machining, troubleshooting, inspection, finishing, job documentation, and production updates while meeting quality, safety, and delivery standards. No specific certifications are required; candidates will be evaluated based on practical machining skills and relevant experience.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience as a CNC Machinist or Master Machinist, with the ability to produce parts from print to completion.
• Mastercam programming experience.
• Proven experience operating and setting up Haas CNC machines.
• Strong blueprint reading and drawing interpretation skills.
• Experience with manual machining, including manual mills and lathes.
• Ability to independently set up machines, prove out programs, troubleshoot issues, and inspect finished parts.
• Strong understanding of machining tolerances, precision measurement, and quality control.
• Commitment to quality, on-time delivery, and safe machining practices.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T requirements.
• Develop CNC toolpaths and programs using Mastercam.
• Set up CNC mills and lathes, including fixtures, tooling, work offsets, and program prove-outs.
• Operate Haas CNC equipment and manual machining tools to produce precision components.
• Troubleshoot machining issues independently and maintain required tolerances.
• Inspect finished parts using appropriate measuring instruments and verify conformance to drawings.
• Perform deburring, surface grinding, and other finishing operations as required.
• Maintain accurate job travelers and production updates in the ERP system.
• Meet production schedules while maintaining strict quality and workplace safety standards.
