Support engineer to the Glasgow depots Diagnosing faults providing technical support over various communication channels Support updates on diagnostic equipment On-site training when diagnosing faults Attending training courses and being able to transfer that knowledge to others Sharing technical information Working with the group tech team on projects, reporting to the HoE and Engineering Director.

Requirements

• Must possess a full driving licence, PCV Licence is desirable
• Must have knowledge of Mercedes Engines and ZF Gearboxes
• Level 4 hybrid EV trained and minimum of level 3 NVQ heavy vehicle / PCV tech
• A good knowledge of the First Bus fleet of vehicles
• Good diagnostic skills
• Good communication skills with the ability to lead and coach others
• IT literate with good organisational skills
• Be open to working out of normal hours
• Working alongside group technical providing good clear information to support supplier meetings
• Be able to attend training courses which will take you away from home overnight
• HVAC trained and certified
