Responsible for the maintenance and repair of all production and plant support systems. This role involves monitoring equipment for reliability using condition monitoring methodologies and specialized tools, repairing, installing, troubleshooting, adjusting, modifying, and servicing various production equipment including valves, rotating equipment, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, plant utilities infrastructure, material transfer systems, and plant instrumentation. The technician will also read and modify ladder logic, participate in preventive and predictive maintenance teams, execute precision maintenance activities, perform metal fabrication, welding (MIG/TIG/STICK), pipefitting, construction maintenance, concrete, asphalt, and carpentry. Additionally, the role includes leading Root Cause Analysis events, completing work orders safely, assisting in creating and optimizing Job Plans, generating equipment layout drawings with basic drafting skills, assisting in creating Bill of Materials, participating in Lean events and safety/5S teams, maintaining communication with production technicians, ensuring quality and timely completion of maintenance work, mentoring apprentice technicians, providing crew leadership and support, identifying PM and spare parts control improvements, participating in Equipment Improvement Teams, working to reduce unplanned downtime, collaborating with other functional areas, applying lean manufacturing tools, performing autonomous care and housekeeping, documenting spare parts usage, working within scheduling requirements, and driving mobile equipment (Forklift, Crane, Boom lift, Scissor lift, Skid-steer) using computer software like CMMS (Maximo), Email, and MS Office Suite.
