About The Position

The Semiconductor Facility Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within a semiconductor manufacturing facility. This position supports facility infrastructure, production equipment, and construction projects while ensuring compliance with safety, electrical, and environmental standards.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of commercial, industrial or semiconductor electrical experience
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and construction plans
  • Proficiency using electrical testing equipment and hand tools.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of industrial equipment systems.
  • Knowledge of Installation, maintenance, and repair electrical of systems including power distribution, lighting, motor controls, transformers, switchgear, and control circuits.
  • Experience with electrical installation and connect conduit, cable trays, wiring, panels, and electrical equipment.
  • Ability to work from ladders, lifts, and elevated platforms.
  • Ability to work in cleanroom and industrial environments.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work in confined spaces as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Semiconductor manufacturing facility experience.
  • Experience supporting tool installation.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, automation systems, and industrial controls.
  • Experience working in cleanroom environments.
  • Familiarity with medium-voltage power systems and critical facility infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Support tool installations and equipment hookups for semiconductor manufacturing and facility
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on facility electrical infrastructure
  • Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and work closely with mechanical, facilities, engineering teams.
  • Follow all semiconductor facility safety requirements, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), electrical safety, and cleanroom protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, local building codes, and company standards.
