About The Position

As a Master Scheduler at Sierra Space, you'll play a critical role working cross-functionally to develop and balance manufacturing plans across several factories. You'll collaborate with Engineering, Program Management, Production, and Supply Chain to translate ambitious program objectives into executable production schedules. This role will immerse you in fast-paced design and production cycles of complex aerospace hardware across multiple engineering disciplines and work centers. You'll analyze production data, identify capacity constraints, and develop mitigation strategies to keep critical programs on track. The ideal candidate brings strong data analytics skills, extensive MRP system experience, a history working within engineering-driven organizations, and expertise in capacity management and planning. You'll develop, triage, maintain, and present manufacturing plans that support our bold mission in space technology. We're looking for individuals with a bias for action and extreme ownership who thrive in a dynamic environment where your decisions directly impact our ability to reach the stars and deliver critical national defense capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience
  • Higher-level degrees may substitute for relevant experience
  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • Experience working in engineering-driven manufacturing environments
  • Strong understanding of MRP Systems
  • Strong Data Analytics skills
  • Skilled at distilling and presenting large amounts of data in a clear and concise manner

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using SQL, Python, R
  • APICS Certification(s)
  • Someone who is well organized, a fast learner, someone who takes initiative
  • Ability to work with limited supervision to develop and manage production plans and schedules.
  • Understanding of a product development process in an engineering environment and the transition to production process in a business environment.
  • Analytical and organizational skills, able to be diplomatically persuasive or assertive when necessary.
