About The Position

The Lab Products Master Scheduler works within the Planning Department and leads planners in executing production schedules and developing control measures to prevent shortages for assigned projects. The role monitors forecasts, safety stock, and sales order data as they enter the system; manages forecasting and demand in the ERP system; and determines material quantities and timing to control inventory flow to the manufacturing floor and maintain continuity of supply. The position also performs related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Hands-on experience with MRP processes and computer systems.
Ability to read and understand part drawings.
Close attention to detail.
Sound problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and efficiently with general supervision.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to write queries in Excel or Access using relational databases.
Strong organizational, analytical, mathematical, and statistical data capabilities.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
At least 10 years of related experience.
APICS and CPIM certifications.

Responsibilities

Observe and control forecasts, safety stock, and sales order data as it flows into the system.
Manage forecasting as it affects the business and manage demands in the ERP system.
Determine quantities and timing of materials to control inventory flow to the manufacturing floor and ensure continuity of supply for production schedules.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
