About The Position

The Master Scheduler will join ZF’s Supply Chain team in Marysville, MI, supporting axle drive products Stellantis. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this role is responsible for developing and maintaining the master production schedule and ensuring material availability to meet production plans. The position closely monitors customer demand, production requirements, and supplier performance to ensure timely, cost-effective material supply and delivery. The Master Scheduler plays a critical role in achieving inventory and cost targets while supporting 100% customer and supplier delivery performance.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED and 3+ years of related experience.
  • TS-16949 and ISO-14001 awareness.
  • Experience with SAP MRP System.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel and/or Access).
  • Ability to read, analyze, interpret and manipulate large amounts of data.
  • In-depth knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing supplier environment.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and correct all incoming EDI transactions for accuracy such as 824, 830, 862, 997, etc.
  • Maintain and set up in SAP customer shipping schedule agreements, proper pricing, timing for production and spot-buy PO’s, including service parts.
  • Maintain and set up in SAP supplier scheduling agreements such as transit times, inventory safety stock, safety time, pack sizes, order sizes and delivery frequency.
  • Develop / publish daily shipment and production schedules to meet all customer demands both internal and external (production/service).
  • Establish inventory Kanban levels to meet targets and ensure material availability to meet production plan.
  • Report corrective actions and maintain accurate AP workplace for incoming Material Master Set Up parts.
  • Effectively set up Material Masters and corresponding BOMs for new and current parts.
  • Responsible for integrity and accuracy of production and prototype BOMs and shipments.
  • Participate and coordinate engineering change activities to avoid or minimize risk of obsolescence.
  • Participate in activities related to launch of new suppliers, customers, programs or products.
