About The Position
The Master Scheduler is responsible for developing and maintaining the master production schedule to meet customer demand, optimize capacity, and ensure on-time delivery. Reporting to the Manager of Global Planning, this role collaborates with supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, and engineering to align production plans with business objectives.
Requirements
- 8+ years in production planning or scheduling
- At least 3 years in a leadership role
- Experience in high-tech or semiconductor manufacturing is strongly preferred
- Expertise in ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle)
- Expertise in advanced scheduling tools
- Expertise in Excel
- Expertise in reporting dashboards
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and communicate the master production schedule across all product lines and factories.
- Ensure alignment with demand forecasts and inventory targets.
- Analyze capacity constraints, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to meet delivery commitments.
- Partner with sales operations, procurement, and engineering to resolve scheduling conflicts, align configurations, and support new product introductions.
- Track schedule performance using KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools.
- Communicate status and risks to leadership.
- Implement best practices for scheduling efficiency, leveraging analytics and ERP/MRP systems.
