About The Position

Are you the Master’s Level Clinician/Therapist we’ve been searching for? In this
role, you will be able to convey your passion for helping others by working with
people in the community!

JRI’s Behavioral Health Centers provide comprehensive assessment and treatment
to individuals and families of all ages as well as specialized services to young
children and their families with trauma histories. We provide care to a
supportive community serving a wide variety of genders, cultural backgrounds,
languages, and ethnic backgrounds.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling from an accredited college or university required.
• Clinical licensure (LCSW, LMHC, LICSW, LMFT) or able to sit for clinical licensure required. We will help you!
• Able to obtain and interpret information in terms of the needs of emotionally disturbed, mentally ill youth and their families.
• Ability to learn the range of interventions and treatment required by this population.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle as transporting youth is required.
• Background and driving record checks will be performed.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience working with specialized populations in a community mental health program is preferred.
• Clinical experience with therapy modalities of various styles is preferred.
• Knowledgeable in growth and development is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient therapy to children and adults through in person clinic services as well as telehealth.
• Support individuals in becoming their best selves within the structure of their home and communities.
• Work with clients with a variety of diagnostic profiles to explore the treatment modalities that work best for each client. Therapy styles may include individual, couples or family therapy in the outpatient setting.
• Provide culturally competent, trauma informed, confidential clinical services that place the needs of the client at the center of your practice.
• Serve as a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team that works together to find the best and most effective methods of guiding and supporting clients within the community. With this team you will participate in client treatment, case conferences and discharge meetings.
