The Master Plumber on a full-time basis, will have a yearly salary range of $90,000 - $110,000 with bonus potential and a full suite of benefits. Position Overview: The Master Plumber will manage and mentor in-home field technicians, ensuring the highest standards in Plumbing and HVAC repairs and installations. This role involves training, evaluating, providing feedback, and motivating technicians to achieve key performance indicators.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ field management experience
  • Master Plumber License and experience with residential plumbing
  • Excellent communication, writing and verbal skills
  • Ability to collaborate well with various teams, including office and field staff
  • Ability to multi-task effectively on a regular basis.
  • Available to occasionally be on call during weekends on a rotating schedule
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure business standards are achieved and maintained by all technicians in the repair and installation process.
  • Spend 50% of time in the field motivating technicians, enhancing customer service skills and improving technician skills.
  • Ensure adequate technician field coverage for a seven-day, 365 day operation of service and installations.
  • Monitor performance proactively by field visits, customer contact, report analysis, and reaction to feedback.
  • Respond to all customer complaints and inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Provide equipment replacement quotes.
  • Interview and hire new technicians as needed.
  • Identify areas of improvement in existing processes.
  • Understand and follow the union collective bargaining agreement where it applies.
  • Interact with Field Training Manager for course needs and development of technicians.
