The Master Planner will lead and analyze demand during lead time, identify abnormal demand patterns and verify causes with the demand team and agree to actions. They will determine the SKU inventory levels by warehouse to support the desired level of customer service while minimizing cost and inventory. The role involves executing SKU phase in/phase out plans with the Supply Chains and Product Management, and maintaining and coordinating the relationship among Master/Asset Scheduler, Logistics Specialist and Demand Planner, ensuring integration with the medium to long term distribution plan. The Master Planner will also manage non-product inventory, work with relational functional people to find outlets or propose write-offs, and lead the resolution of short-term supply/demand imbalances at warehouses. Participation in daily/weekly/monthly planning meetings and representation of distribution requirement plans are key. The role requires maintaining accurate master data, including planning parameters, and collaborating with the demand/commercial team to validate the forecast of demand by warehouse for each SKU. Additionally, the Master Planner will lead strategic long-term planning scenarios, manage costs through production wheel management and MTO/MTS analysis, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
